The award ceremony took place online on 10 December 2020, Human Rights Day, during the WE EMPOWER-G7 Forum. It showcased companies with responsible business conduct and good practices to further gender equality and women's empowerment in the workplace, marketplace and community.

The webinar showcased the potential offered by gender-responsive procurement in times of COVID-19, and strategies and practices which the public and private sector can adopt to undertake this approach. The panelists spoke about practical policies, practices and services that companies could develop, implement and practice to help in the procurement responses.

On the 28 October 2020, WE EMPOWER - G7 Programme organized the "Mentoring to Advance Women’s Professional Development" event. The speakers discussed how WEPs signatories can develop their own mentoring programmes. The event explored promising practices in mentoring programme design and delivery, and highlighted lessons learned of other WEPs signatories.
