WEPs Learn 2026 - From Commitment to Action

UN Women, WEPs' Secretariat

Companies are increasingly demonstrating their commitment to gender equality, across all seven of the UN Women Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs). However, a gap remains between commitment and implementation, particularly in translating policies and intentions into measurable, sustained changes in practices, behaviours and outcomes.

Exclusive to WEPs Signatories, the WEPs secretariat has developed a structured, cohort-based learning journey that supports companies at differing stages of maturity to move from intent to action, and from action to accountability.

Objective

By the end of the learning journey, companies will have progressed from commitment to a more structured and evidence-based approach to gender equality. The series provides the framework, tools and peer exchange to accelerate this journey and set companies up to act on gender equality.

It is structured in three learning clinics, each consisting of multiple sessions.

three clinics, planning, action and measuring & reporting

Read more about the objectives and the details for each clinic in this Background Note.
