WEPs Transparency & Accountability Roadmap: An Introduction

Title Page

Gender equality is no longer only a values issue — it is a material business factor shaping performance, resilience and long-term value creation. Yet many companies still face a common challenge: how to move from collecting gender data to using it effectively for decision-making, accountability and impact.

This webinar introduces the newly launched WEPs Transparency and Accountability Roadmap, a practical framework designed to help companies strengthen governance, prioritize gender indicators and integrate gender equality into strategy, risk management and reporting. It is co-hosted by UN Women and the Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030.

This webinar is designed for companies and partners working on ESG, sustainability, HR and strategy who want to strengthen governance, data and accountability for gender equality.

During the session, we will:

  • Walk through the four maturity levels and how companies can use them
  • Explore practical applications across different sectors and company sizes
  • Share how companies can engage in the next phase of testing and application to different sectors and company contexts

The session is designed for companies at all stages of their WEPs journey, as well as partners supporting private sector engagement.
