Beyond my philosophical beliefs in an equal and just society, and beyond issues of social justice, I am convinced that gender diversity is a genuine asset that will lead our company, VINCI Construction Grands Projets, to conduct our activities differently—certainly in a more harmonious manner, but above all, in a more effective way. Therefore, on behalf of our company, VINCI Construction Grands Projets, I wholeheartedly endorse the United Nations WEPs. Together with the Grands Projets au féminin (“Major Projects, the feminine way”) Steering committee, comprised entirely of female and male employees of the company that we established back in 2019 to promote a better gender balance, create conditions for the empowerment of women in all areas of our operations, and provide them with opportunities to access leadership roles, especially in the operational field, we are mindful that we still have a long way to go.
