Open to private sector organizations of any size and sector, as well as chambers of commerce, business associations, and stock exchanges, the Asia-Pacific WEPs Awards welcomes submissions from all organizations operating in an Asia-Pacific country.
The UN Women Asia-Pacific WEPs Awards is the only regional awards initiative recognizing private sector action for gender equality aligned to the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs). Spanning four cycles between 2020-2022 and 2024, the Asia-Pacific WEPs Awards have received more than 2,000 applications from over 1,000 companies across 20 Asia-Pacific countries, ultimately awarding the actions of more than 300 leaders, business associations, companies, and SMEs.
