Women empowerment and equality in Nigeria has always been a touchy subject that brought about cultural and religious clashes. African women grew up with the mindset that it is a man's world and women belong in the kitchen, with constant nagging from family members to behave a certain way in order to get married. We grew up believing to be minorities. We are changing the narrative to show women that we can take charge of our lives, dominate in areas that are known to be led by men and excel at it.
