We are happy and excited to be signatory the United Nations Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) with the belief that women create important values in business life and in all areas of life. We believe that Women's Empowerment Principles will be an important guide for the empowerment of women in society, business life and economic life. As the largest foreign direct investor of Turkey, we value for diversity regardless of race, color, creed, ethnic and religion, gender, marital status, age or disability, based on SOCAR Turkey's values and our ethics rules. We also show high sensitivity to women's employment with our approach that ensures equality of opportunity and fairness within the organization while protecting this feature in our employee profile formed by the diversity of cultures and nations. Although the rate of male employment in the average of the sectors in which we operate is considerably higher than that of women, number of female white-collar employees in SOCAR Turkey and our group of companies constitute 30% of our total white-collar employees. We aim to implement our women leaders development program, which we believe will be a pioneering work for women's empowerment and equality in the business world in the near future. We will continue our efforts without slowing down in order to further strengthen the place of women in business life by always implementing innovative practices with the focus of WEPs Women's Empowerment Principles.
