From the very beginning of Sea Going Green in 2017, I was determined to hire and build partnerships with other women leading the way in ocean conservation, climate action and sustainable tourism. As a woman who began her career in a scientific field traditionally dominated by men, I have experienced both the progress we've made and the challenges that still remain. I am honored to join this community of like-minded business leaders who recognize that, while meaningful progress has been achieved, there is still important work to do to close the gender gap across many of our industries through collaboration and actionable change.
