At Sattva, our mission is to end poverty in our lifetime. Thus, we keep the Sustainable Development Goals front and center as we carry out our work with our clients, partners and communities. SDG 5 (Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls) inspires us to apply a gender lens to all our work, to ensure that we are inclusive and equitable in our approach. Though we are an organization that is two-thirds women (including at the leadership level), we recognize that there is a long path to travel to achieve gender equality in our lifetime. We pledge to strive for this outcome and to encourage our clients and partners to do the same.
