Rusicaa works to establish partnerships that promote the Adivasi/indigenous fashion and textile industry, advance economic and social development activities, preserve the culture and empower Adivasi/indigenous community especially women artisans. Our roots with the community are committed to promoting positive social change and sustainable lifestyle practices for a healthier world. Thus, helping our female artisans to fulfill their potential and maximize the returns of their participation in the global apparel sector. Empowerment to us is about providing our women artisans the possibilities to choose to work, how much to work As a brand we act by adopting policies and making investments that bring about positive change for women. Through partnership and collaborations, we work to enable NGO’s community organizations, and business partners to promote women’s economic empowerment in the supply chain. We also try to influence through research and advocacy, sometimes directly and other times by supporting others’ activities to better understand the factors that promote equity and contribute to creating environments conducive to gender equality.
