Most male personnel in our organization had never realized the daily challenges that our female colleagues go through, just to enter and survive the workplace. A few quick and frank sessions revealed a deep chasm in men's perception of their role, and the actual role they play. Little did the men realize how deep the discrimination runs. Change starts with men standing up for women - whether with small gestures, non-judgmental company, timely words of support, or by breaking the proverbial ice.
