Sarajevo International Airport is joining the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) as a natural progression of its longstanding commitment to gender equality, equal opportunities and an inclusive workplace culture. Through its Gender Equality Plan and corresponding Action Plan, the Airport has taken concrete steps to strengthen the position of women, prevent discrimination, and promote equal opportunities for professional development and leadership. By becoming a WEPs signatory, Sarajevo International Airport further reinforces its commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices. It also aims to contribute to advancing gender equality across the civil aviation sector and the wider business community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
