Oyá Consultoria Social, in its projects, promotes the culture of gender equality in business and the empowerment of women – using the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) as a guiding guide, launched worldwide by UN Global Compact and UN Women in 2010. Women's economic empowerment is one of the keys to sustainable development and a more equal world - and a necessary action to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, established in 2015 by the UN to eradicate poverty and protect the planet and ensure that people achieve peace and prosperity. The projects developed by OYÀ Consultoria Social encourage equal treatment between women and men and the projects are designed with the aim of increasing their commitment and developing capabilities to eliminate discrimination against women.
