At MushkingFX, our commitment to the Women’s Empowerment Principles is driven by a fundamental realization: you cannot authentically tell a story of global empowerment through a lens of institutional inequality. For over a decade, our production house has been at the frontlines of documenting the transition from 'Abuse to Freedom' for girls and young women across Africa. However, we recognize that to be true partners in the UN Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 5, our advocacy must begin within our own editing suites and on our own film sets. We are joining the WEPs global community because we believe that gender equality is not a 'check-box' exercise for compliance; it is the primary engine of creative innovation and social justice.
