Women are the driving force of any society thanks to the caring attitude, the ability and desire to give back to the country, company, community and the aspiration to change the world for better. I am the CEO of an ICT company, telecom provider, that has been traditionally perceived as the men dominated industry. I am proud to confess that our company stands out of the trend in terms of women power. We have 58% of women vs 42% of men, while in top management functions this ratio is 70% women vs 30% men. We have great women leaders in the company that are leading teams, projects or processes, dedicated, committed, professional and striving for excellence. I always say that in business there are professionals and professionalism always comes first, gender is not important if you are an great expert in your domain.I welcome the provisions of the Women’s Empowerment Principles and as a business we are committed to continue empowering women.
