I have devoted the past 35 years of my professional career to the empowerment of women and historically underrepresented groups in the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) industry. In fact, it was the driving force behind the formation of my firm - a women-owned and controlled firm – more than a quarter of a century ago. I believed then, and I believe now that gender equality and the offering of meaningful growth opportunity is not only the right thing to do from a business perspective, but also reflects a moral and ethical responsibility to change the narrative—and the reality.
