The main reason we are committed to implementing the Women’s Empowerment Principles and joining the global community of organizations that promote gender equality is our belief that sustainable societal and economic development depends on enabling all individuals, both women and men, to develop and apply their skills and potential. As a research institute, we also recognize the importance of contributing to evidence-based understanding of gender equality and integrating these principles into our internal practices where applicable.
