Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) is wholly owned by over 35000 Cooperative Societies representing more than 40 million farmers. It is committed to the development and empowerment of women folk particularly in rural areas of India as IFFCO believes that objectives of women empowerment can be better achieved through cooperative values of self-help, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity for growth and development of all beings on earth. Women play a pivotal role in the economic, social and cultural upliftment of the community. In this direction, IFFCO and its Associate organisations namely Cooperative Rural Development Trust (CORDET), Indian Farm Forestry Development Cooperative Ltd. (IFFDC), IFFCO e-Bazar Ltd, IFFCO Yuva etc. are doing remarkable work for nurturing women self-help groups through training, skill development, knowledge building, micro-enterprises development, digital orientation, employment generation, women franchises etc. for empowerment of women.
