At Gato Negro Media, gender equality means more than just being seen—it’s about having a voice, a perspective, and real choices. As a team mostly made up of women, we tell the stories that matter to us, through a female gaze that highlights women’s lives, struggles, and solutions. We’re learning and growing in technical areas where women are often left out, and we’re helping others do the same. For us, it’s about having the freedom to choose our own path, honoring the generations of women who came before us, and making sure those who come after have a fairer future. Following the Women’s Empowerment Principles, we’re creating a media space where women lead, shape, and decide—every step of the way.
