Rector
As the Rector of European University of Tirana, I believe creating a successful, creative, and long-lasting organization requires a strong foundation in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our organization's commitment to the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) reinforces the dedication to creating an environment where everyone, regardless of gender identity, has an equal chance to develop, lead, and thrive. We recognize that everyone gains from the advancement of gender equality. It improves decision-making, fortifies our workforce, and propels sustained social and economic advancement. By actively supporting equitable policies, equal compensation, inclusive leadership, and a respectful culture, we can demonstrate our commitment to WEPs and make sure that everyone's opinions are respected. By embedding these principles into our strategy and operations, we provide a contribution to a more equitable society and at the same time we strengthen our organization’s resilience, creativity, and impact for our future generations. We are committed to taking meaningful actions that enable opportunities for all and nurture an environment where talent, potential, and contribution—not gender—are the main pillars to success.
