It was only natural for EuroCham Cambodia to sign the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), following the strong collaboration we have built with UN Women over the years. Joint initiatives such as our events on gender equality in the workplace, including “Advancing Gender Equality in the Workplace: Technology and Media” and “Gender Equality Means Business,” have underlined the importance of placing gender equality at the forefront of the private sector agenda. By endorsing the WEPs, we affirm our commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces where women and men have equal opportunities to thrive. As the collective voice of European businesses in Cambodia, we believe that empowering women is not only a matter of principle but also a driver of innovation, resilience, and sustainable growth.
