Citibank N.A. South Africa

Peter Taylor (M)

Managing Director, Citi Country Officer South Africa (CEO)

Citi’s global diversity strategy sets out a clear path to work towards improving our gender balance. That is why we signed the Women in Finance Charter in 2017, and set goals to have women account for at least 30% of our EMEA Director and MD roles by 2025. Last week, our global CEO Mike Corbatt announced his successor, Wall Street’s first female CEO, Jane Fraser. In South Africa, we are 100% committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace. We have implemented several iniatives that demonstrate our commitment to this cause. We empower our employees and provide a safe space for them to voice their thoughts on issues like gender diversity & racial disparities. As an organisation, we have made great strides, we are moving in the right direction but we recognise that there is still more work to be done to boost female representation.
