The Center for African Leadership Studies (CALS) overall aim is to build indigenous resources to foster leadership and entrepreneurship training in a distinctively African setting. We have a global vision of a future where individuals and nations worldwide flourish together in an ecosystem of friendship, collaboration, the common good, and solidarity. Clearly, this vision cannot become a reality without creating equality, giving everyone the same equal rights, chances, and resources. Most importantly for CALS, this should happen not only at the workplace but also in all areas of life. We highly support the WEPs as they provide ideal guidance on promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment. We appreciate the global network, as only together we can win the fight for gender equality, women empowerment, and their involvement in politics and leadership roles. Together, we can implement the 2030 agenda, the SDGs on gender equality, and contribute to better outcomes for the present as well as future generations.
