General Manager of Aksigorta

As Aksigorta, we support the participation of experienced and competent female employees into business life by maintaining the balance of female and male employees within the scope of ‘’Equality at Work’’ since 2013. We conduct our human resources policies within the framework of gender equality approach. I would like to mention some practices we have done to achieve our goals. We have an Employee Support phone line which provides 7/24 consulting about health, law, social life and many other subjects to employees and family members. We also provide face-to-face psychological support to employees and their relatives who are in need within the scope of this program. Besides that we have a lactation room and a system of childcare payment for our female employees with children. All of our employees who have children spend report card day with their children allowedly. Our human resources specialists received ''Business Against Domestic Violence'' accreditation training last year in cooperation with Sabancı University, and they have been working to raise awareness ever since. Our Human Resources team reports the Female-Male employee rate and the Title-based female employee rate on a monthly basis. In order to increase the number of female leaders, our executives have targets on female share of back up in their KPIs. In the coming years, we aim to focus the female employee birth process, raise awareness against domestic violence and promote the use of egalitarian language. In addition to all these, we are eager to sign WEPs, considering that concrete steps should be taken to strengthen women's life in workplace.
